Adding guns would immediately get the software banned from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and thousands of school district firewalls.

Minecraft: Education Edition is built on the Bedrock codebase. This means standard Java mods—such as the famous "MrCrayfish’s Gun Mod" or "Vic’s Modern Warfare"—will not work on this platform.

For over a decade, Minecraft: Education Edition (M:EE) has been the gold standard for classroom engagement.
