If you own an Epson EcoTank M2110, you already know it is a workhorse. Known for its high page yield and low running costs (thanks to the ink tank system), it is a favorite for small offices and home businesses. However, like all sophisticated electronics, it is not immune to errors.
If you swap the mainboard or buy a used M2110 that was previously in service mode, the adjustment program can recalibrate the printer and set correct production parameters.
After printing thousands of pages, the printer’s internal waste ink pad (which absorbs excess ink during cleaning cycles) becomes saturated. Epson programs the M2110 to stop working after a specific count of cleaning cycles or printed pages to prevent ink from leaking inside the machine.
